History
Microcom Corporation traces its history back to its founding in 1982 as a reseller/integrator of thermal printer solutions for a wide range of customers. As its systems integration experience grew, the company recognized niche markets not being served by other thermal printer manufacturers. As a result, Microcom began developing its own line of specialized thermal barcode label and kiosk printers and expanded its corporate headquarters to include a 30,000 square foot design and manufacturing facility.
Today, Microcom is a well-respected bar code label printer supplier to many companies including the United States Postal Service, Hertz, and Delta Airlines.
