Microcom Corporation Releases Model 814M, 8.5” Thermal Kiosk Printer for Healthcare, Wayfinding, Boarding Pass, Retail, and Other Applications

LEWIS CENTER, OH – October 1, 2013 – Microcom Corporation would like to introduce the
newest addition to our M-series thermal kiosk printers, our model 814M. Present your customers
with the information they need from our new model 814M thermal kiosk printer, specially
designed for full-format A4 or letter-size printouts of forms/documents, maps, boarding passes,
gift registries, etc.

According to Andrea Flowers, Sales and Marketing Administrator for Microcom, “Our new
model 814M allows us to provide customized printing solutions to accommodate any size
requirement. We are excited to include this 8.5” high-powered printer with our already popular
M-series thermal kiosk printers”.

Microcom’s Model 814M offers a variety of configuration choices to ensure a printing
solution that will meet the specific needs of our clients. Some of these options include: 203 or
300 dpi print resolution, heavy-duty cutter, presenter/retractor capabilities, USB, Serial, or
Parallel ports, and multiple sensor functions. Our movable media mount can hold an 8” OD
thermal paper roll that is equal to roughly 1,100 sheets of paper!
