X38 Windows Driver Agreement

PLEASE READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING

 
[INSTRUCTIONS FOR USB CONNECTED PRINTERS | IF USING ETHERNET, SKIP TO DOWNLOAD]

NOTE: You must first install the FTDI USB Driver before using the USB port on the X38 Series printers.

Connecting printer & powering it on will cause OS to search for appropriate driver. | If OS is unable to find the driver, follow instructions below to manually install the driver.

 
  Quick Steps:
 
  1. If using the USB port; Connect and power on the printer.

    2.  
  2. If the Operating System fails to install the USB driver, run the CDM20814_Setup.exe to manually install the USB port.

    3.  
  3. Once the FTDI USB Driver is installed, disconnect the USB and then reconnect it before installing the Windows Print Driver.

  4. If using the Windows printer driver, please run the Microcom Print Driver installer; Setup-2.X.X.XX.exe.
