Lewis Center, Ohio – Microcom Corporation is pleased to introduce the Model 238B
Battery Powered Thermal Printer.
The 238B offers the smallest footprint of any printer in the Microcom line-up with
internal ticket storage thanks to its compact mechanism and print engine. Equipped with a
high powered, rechargeable battery, the 238B can print up to 4,000 tickets on a single
charge providing reliable ticket printing virtually anywhere.
“What the 238B really offers is flexibility and convenience.” says Dave Dezse, VP and
Chief Technical Officer of Microcom. “The heavy duty cutter allows for a wide variety
of media options and the fact that it is battery powered means you can print anywhere
you have a PC; that includes tablets too. We have also designed a mounting tray that can
be paired with a mobile ticketing cart for a truly portable solution. The 238B can print
anywhere the customer goes.”
