Microcom Wins IAAPA Brass Ring Award

Lewis Center, OH, November 30, 2021:  Microcom Corp. won a Brass Ring Award at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions Trade Show (IAAPA Expo) in Orlando, Florida this month.  IAAPA represents leading industry attractions and supplier companies from more than 100 countries.  Members include professionals from amusement parks, resorts, zoos, aquariums, museums, cruise lines, and more.  With 878 exhibiting companies and 28,229 attendees, IAAPA Expo 2021 combined new products, cutting-edge services, and education sessions in one exciting event.

Microcom won the IAAPA 2021 Brass Ring Award for the Best New Product Concept – Other Product/Service (Second Place) for introducing a color laser printer with RFID encoding at the trade show.  The unique, desktop-size model 360C-RFID Color Laser Printer produces full-color graphics with RFID-chip encoding -- providing the power of RFID and the convenience of on-demand printing.  It is ideal for wristbands, event tickets, membership cards, visitor passes, group sales, and much more.

Dave Dezse, CEO of Microcom, said, “We are honored to be selected by the IAAPA Awards Committee for a Brass Ring Award.  With our RFID color printer, amusement parks and waterparks can print their own water-resistant RFID wristbands in full-color to save time and money.  Many attendees visiting our booth commented that on-demand printing would allow an unlimited number of colors and designs without any unused excess pre-printed wristbands.”
